Kids Fun Run – Run, Smile, Be a Champion!
As part of the Khareef Dhofar 2026 celebrations, MGE brings the Kids Fun Run to the beautiful Hawana Marina, creating an afternoon dedicated to movement, fun and healthy living for Dhofar’s young community.
Designed to encourage children to get active in a fun and welcoming environment, the Kids Fun Run is about much more than reaching the finish line. It gives young participants the opportunity to experience the excitement of running, build confidence and discover the joy of sport while sharing the experience with their families and the wider community.
The initiative forms part of MGE’s ongoing commitment to developing a stronger culture of grassroots sport in Dhofar, introducing children to active lifestyles from an early age and creating positive sporting experiences that can inspire the next generation.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Hawana Salalah, the upcoming edition will take place on 21 August 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, bringing families together for an energetic afternoon during the Khareef season.
