Welcome to Middle East Global Events - Oman’s leading multi sports organizer!

Middle East Global Events (MGE) predecessor, Muscat Triathlon Club (MTC) was established in 2013 with the objective of introducing triathlon sports to the Sultanate of Oman. Between 2016- 2023, MTC transitioned to Triathlon Middle East (TRI.ME) adding other endurance sports events to our portfolio. Fast forward to 2024, MGE is now home to global events, incorporating both international and local events under our umbrella.

The idea stemmed from the founder, Mohamed Al Obaidani, an avid triathlete who became the first Omani to qualify for the world championship in Kona, Hawaii proudly carrying the Omani flag across the finish line. MGE went from a short triathlon race held in Salalah in 2013 with 13 participants to the successful first IRONMAN 70.3 Oman, Muscat race with over 900 participants representing a global brand in our home country. MGE is a 100% Omani company driven by a visionary goal to pioneer sports tourism in Oman and establish a formidable global presence in the world of endurance sports.
